Autumn is dry and fires are frequent. In order to improve the fire safety awareness of KJM employees and enhance the fire emergency self-rescue ability and self-protection ability, on October 26, all employees of KJM carried out fire safety knowledge training and emergency drill activities, and professional safety administrators acted as the trainers. Employees actively participated, from theory to practice in-depth understanding of fire prevention and disaster relief knowledge. This fire drill is not only the attention to the safety of workers, but also the embodiment of social responsibility.
The fire drill includes three parts: theoretical explanation, understanding of fire supplies, and field fire fighting practice, which lasted for one hour. In the activity, in addition to promoting the basic knowledge of how to save yourself and fight fire when you encounter a fire, the importance of fire prevention was also actively promoted, and the vigilance and attention to fire hazards were improved.
KJM company site covers an area of about 15,000 square meters, the existing staff of more than 200 people, personnel and cargo flow is large. It is the bounden responsibility of KJM company to ensure the personal safety of staff and the fire safety of warehouse goods. The organization of all staff fire drills and the full implementation of safety responsibilities are of great significance to the safe and stable operation of enterprises. At the event site, everyone took it seriously and actively participated. First of all, Manager Wu briefly described the cause of the fire, escape skills and other knowledge, and explained the evacuation route and signal requirements of the warehouse in detail. Manager Wu introduced the installation and use method of fire hose and the inspection and use method of portable dry powder fire extinguisher to the personnel present in detail, theoretically consolidating fire safety knowledge for the staff.
Through this activity, the staff and workers have further improved their resilience against fire, enhanced the staff and workers' awareness of fire safety prevention, created a good fire safety environment, and established the fire safety concept of "preventing disasters from burning". Finally, KJM company reminds here that there is a difference between on-site simulation exercises and real life, and the awareness of fire prevention must not be taken lightly. Life without exercise, tighten the safety string, firmly establish a sense of fire safety in daily life, start from the little things around, develop good habits of electricity and fire, and eliminate fire hazards from the root.
