Design and Prototyping:
Firstly, according to the functional requirements and ergonomic principles of the kayaker handle, a preliminary design was carried out. This includes determining the size, shape, material, and color of the handle.
Once the design is complete.
Material selection:
Select suitable materials such as PVC, TPR, nylon or other high performance plastics according to the design requirements. These materials usually have good weather resistance, water resistance and sufficient strength.
Mold making:
Once the design is finalized, a production mold needs to be made. The accuracy of the mold directly affects the final quality and appearance of the handle, so this link is very critical.
Injection or extrusion molding:
Most plastic handles are produced by injection molding. The selected plastic particles are heated to a molten state, then injected into the mold, and removed after cooling and curing.
For some relatively simple handlebars, extrusion molding process may also be used, the molten plastic is extruded through the mold into a continuous profile of the desired shape, and then cut into a suitable length.
Surface treatment:
The molded handle may require surface treatment, such as sanding to remove rough edges, painting or attaching to other materials to improve the feel and appearance.
Assembly and Inspection:
If the handlebar design contains moving parts or needs to be assembled with other accessories (such as webbing, fasteners), the assembly is completed at this stage.
Finally, a quality inspection of the finished product was performed to ensure that each handle met the design standards and was free of defects or blemishes.
Packing and delivery:
Kayaker handles that pass inspection will be properly packed to prevent damage in transit and shipped as ordered.
The entire manufacturing process is highly dependent on automated equipment and sophisticated mold technology, which ensures the standardized production and large-scale supply of kayakers.
